David Christensen
David Christensen is a producer/director/writer from Canada. Recent documentary productions of his include War Hospital, a cinema-verité feature film about the world’s biggest field hospital, that premiered at the 2005 Vancouver International Film Festival and has been selected in several festivals in North America and Europe (Calgary International Film Festival 2005, winner of the Columbus international Film and Video Festival 2006, honour mention at Thessaloniki Film Festival 2006, etc.). He then completed his first dramatic feature film, Six Figures, which premiered at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival, and got eight nominations at the Alberta Film & Television Awards in 2006.
At present, David Christensen is head of National Film Board Canada for the production of documentary films in the region of Alberta.
