Daughter of Mine by Laura Bispuri and Nico, 1988 by Susanna Nicchiarelli will be both presented in the Horizons section of prestigious Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

The French premiere of Daughter of Mine will take place tonight at 8pm at MK2 Beaubourg in Paris. The director Laura Bispuri and the actresses Valeria Golino and Alba Rohrwacher will participate in the event. The film will be released in French cinemas the 27th of June, distributed by Ufo Distribution.

The nominations for the Silver Ribbons Awards 2018 have been announced. Nico, 1988 received 6 nominations: Best Director – Susanna Nicchiarelli Best Producers – Marta Donzelli e Gregorio Paonessa per Vivo film, con Rai Cinema Best Screenplay – Susanna Nicchiarelli Best Supporting Actor – Thomas Trabacchi Best Sound – Adriano Di Lorenzo Best Soundtrack – Gatto Ciliegia contro il Grande Freddo…

Daughter of Mine by Laura Bispuri and Nico, 1988 by Susanna Nicchiarelli are in the official selection of Oslo Pix International Film Festival, that will take place from 4th to 10th of July 2018.

The dvd of Nico, 1988, awarded as Best Film of Orizzonti at 74° Venice Film Festival and with four David di Donatello, has been released in Italy today, edited by Mustang Entertainment!

Lorello e Brunello  by Jacopo Quadri has been awarded with the Jury Special Mention at Trento Film Festival. The documentary is distributed in Italian cinemas by Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna in collaboration with Vivo film.

Valeria Golino and Alba Rohrwacher were awarded Mariangela Melato Prize for Cinema for Best Actress for their interpretation in Daughter of Mine by Laura Bispuri, in competition at BIF&st Bari International Film Festival.  

After two years of development between Italy and Argentina, two coproduction markets and an international workshop, the shooting of Hogar, written and directed by Maura Delpero, begins in Buenos Aires. The film is produced by dispàrte, Campo Cine and Vivo film with Rai Cinema.  

Nico, 1988 by Susanna Nicchiarelli is released today to great reviews in French and Belgian cinemas, distributed by New Story and Kinovista in France and by Cinemien in Belgium!
